Medium dry and medium coarse, light-brown. Delicate rose and cognac flavour. Quite strong and very nice. Another winner from Molens de Kralingse0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
The scent of rose in this snuff is light and realistic not perfumed, it lingers in the nose, fresh air a hour later still brings me the scent of rose as if I crushed a fresh rose petal. I do not sense the cognac in it other than to say there is a hint of "other" along with the rose. This snuff also delivers that fine tobacco scent along with the rose, again very light and pleasing to the senses. Summary snuff

Macuba (a variant spelling of Macouba) shares almost nothing in common with its F&T namesake. The only things that unite them are the rose oil in the scenting. Like all de Kralingse snuffs, this is snuff resurrected from the history books and made in a working pair of windmills. This of course is evidence that macoubas of old were widely varied (apart from the rose scenting). The other scenting here is cognac which blends beutifully with the Virginia tobacco and the rose. DeKralingse uses this base for several of their snuffs, but the cognac flavor is only in this and Prins Regent. Summary snuff
