Princes Special

This is one of my favorites. I use a Fribourg & Treyer floral one almost every day, usually the last one I use for the day. The nicotine is slightly on the high side, so it can be an eye opener too. I found it very easy to take as a beginner since it is so heavy and course. It has the consistency of a rich loamy potting soil. You'll have to sniff a bit harder than normal to get it in due to its weight, but its worth the extra work. The color is nearly black. The scenting is strong, but not overdone. You still get a nice tobacco flavor. There is a slight burn, but not unpleasant. It also has a nice nasal passage clearing quality to it without any menthol. Now having had some other Princes types and other Fribourg & Treyer, I will always endevour to keep a supply of this in my collection. Oh, and the flavor will last for hours if you let it. You won't need to blow your nose in a hurry.

Princes Special is another interesting and complex snuff from F&T. In fact out of all the F&T snuffs this is without a doubt my third favourite (after HDT and Dr JR Justice in joint first place). It is very dark brown, fairly coarse, fairly moist and has a very nice yet subtle bite to it. Flavourings include rose (but not as strong as in the Macouba), sandalwood (but not as strong as in the French Carotte), musk, geranium and bourbon. What an excellent blend those flavourings produce!
